Meet Mr. Glimme
Hello I’m Aaron Glimme, Mr. Glimme to my students, I’m a Chemistry teacher at Berkeley High School and I offer tutoring to students in the Bay Area who are looking for support in AP Chemistry.
I graduated with a degree in Chemistry from UC Berkeley in 1995 and have been teaching Chemistry and AP Chemistry at Berkeley High School ever since. I live in Berkeley and have prepared 30 years of students to be highly successful on the AP Chemistry test.
I love teaching students Chemistry and particularly enjoy seeing them improve their understanding and ability to demonstrate that understanding. During a tutoring session, we will focus on both the current material a student is working on and on pre-teaching what is coming next. This ensures that students can get the most out of what they are doing in their classes in addition to the tutoring time. As we get closer to the AP test, I have numerous practice problems and tests that students can work on and we can go over together.
Rates for tutoring are $125 per hour for a regular session, discounts are possible for multi-student packages and other options are available for one time sessions. Use the link below to email Mr. Glimme and check on availability.

Online Lectures
One resource that anyone might be interested in are my lectures, these are available on YouTube. Every topic for the full AP Chemistry course is covered in the series of lecture videos. Broken into 11 units it covers everything on the AP test and is a great starting point for getting caught up on anything that you may have missed or that is coming up in your AP class.
